Policies/Procedures 

All invitations, design work, etc. require a 50% deposit at time of contract and payment in full prior to printing/finalization.

Portraits require package payment in full prior to sitting and any additional prints & services to be paid at the time of order and prior to design/printing. Sales Tax of 5.95% will be charged on all orders and all prints will be Matte/Luster Finish, unless otherwise specified on the contract.

You will approve all design work prior to printing. It is your job to double check spelling, etc. There are no refunds. If you approve it, printing is complete and you change your mind, I’m sorry, but I don’t have a high enough profit margin to reprint or refund. In this case we will work together on a solution.

Proofs are usually available within 1 week of the shoot.  You have 2 weeks to place your order.  There is a $50 charge to extend your gallery/ordering time for another 2 weeks.  Orders must be placed within 1 month.  After 1 month your file will be archived and all credits forfeited.

All prints over 8x10 will be lightly retouched as needed.
Gallery Style is recommended on all prints 11x14 and larger (mounted with protective coating - ready to frame-no glass-no glare, dust comes right off)

Prints will be done within 3 weeks of ordering/payment.
You will receive the CD & reproduction release with your prints (retouched images included)

Due to prior experience, I cannot begin work/shoot photographs until payment has been made and contracts signed. I do my best to quickly process your order. It’s up to you to check your email frequently and make decisions as quickly as possible. Occasionally family things delay the completion, but if you respond as quickly as possible then I’ll be able to work on it when it’s nap time or in the evenings.

For Wedding Photography & Invitations: It is recommended that you send your invitations 3 weeks prior to the wedding. Allow 3 weeks for design, revision, verification & printing of invitations. Try to have engagements taken 2 months before the wedding to allow for enlargements and invitation orders. Bridals should be taken at least 1 month prior to the wedding. On the occasion that you have procrastinated and need your invitations in less than 2 weeks from the time that I receive all the info (pictures, addresses, quantities, etc) – I can do it! (Depending on style/size/quantity), but a $50 rush fee will apply. If you need them in less than 1 week from all info being submitted, the rush fee will be $85.

Final images will be given on a digital CD/DVD with a Limited Release for Reproduction (“Copyright”). All images are subject to reproduction and use by me at any time.

I have a small studio and lots of fun props for kids or you may choose to have your portraits taken on location. Packages include travel of 20 miles (Kaysville to Ogden), further locations are an additional $0.65/mile.

Payment Options: I am happy to accept cash or check. Make Checks payable to: “Livia Designs” and put “Invitations, Photography, etc” in the subject line.

Referrals: I only have word-of-mouth advertising, so in the event that you are pleased and tell a friend who puts you as their referral when they place an order—As a Thank You gift, you will receive a coupon for a free 8x10 with your next order.
